Change and Reform bloc slammed on Tuesday the trash exportation proposal approved by the Cabinet one day earlier, seemingly since it consists in using the municipality funds to finance the plan.
Following the bloc’s weekly meeting, MP Salim Jreissati noted that the Free Patriotic Movement does not disrupt the cabinet’s work, but works to ameliorate the decision-taking mechanism amid a presidential vacuum.
Lebanon's cabinet agreed late on Monday (December 21) to export the country's waste in a move that could end a 5-month-old trash crisis.
