82-year-old woman raped in Tyre, suspect arrested

Residents of the Palestinian refugee camp of Burj al Chamali found Fodda Ahmad Salah, 1931, lying in the orchard located north of the camp. The victim was found sexually abused and suffering from several bruises on the head and all across her body.

Unconscious, the elderly woman was rushed to Jabal Amel Hospital for treatment while the camp’s armed resistance forces arrested the 30-year-old suspect and handed him over to the LAF.

The victim’s family held a protest at the camp’s entrance to condemn this assault.
