Abboud to LBCI: Spoiled meat spoiled tourism

Tourism Minister Fadi Abboud told Nharkom Said TV show that he is setting his sights on shops that rent All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) after cases emerged where the vehicles were not insured. Abboud added that the ministry has confiscated the vehicles; however, the prosecutor general released them giving their owners several months to settle.

Abboud stressed that “the republic of solidere” attempted to prevent his body guards from the ISF from entering Zaytunay bay, “which reflects the widespread case of corruption in the country”.

Abboud voiced hope that the issue of spoiled meat will not be blown out of proportion by the media since it will take its toll on the tourism sector, especially on restaurants.
