Sleiman praises military institutions for controlling borders

President Michel Sleiman praised on Friday the steps taken by the military and security institutions for maintaining security, controlling land and maritime borders and preserving civil peace “especially during this critical regional period”.

During his meeting with army commander General Jean Kahwaji, Sleiman called for penalizing those who tamper with security and thwart any attempt to violate the law.

“Security is always above all other considerations and is key to national stability”, Kahwaji said.
