No Zika cases recorded in Lebanon - Ministry
Public Health Ministry said in a press release Monday that no Zika cases have been recorded in Lebanon, explaining that Zika is a virus spread through some kind of insect bites, and may cause birth malformations and neurological syndromes to fetuses through infected mothers.
 
In the statement, the Health ministry stressed that all necessary procedures to eliminate the chances of Zika in Lebanon are being taken.
