Sources reported to LBCI Tuesday that the five Czechs who went missing in July in eastern Lebanon have been found alive and are in "satisfactory health condition."
They were freed Monday overnight and handed over to the General Security following Czech authorities' approval not to extradite Ali Fayad, who was previously arrested in Prague over suspected aid to terrorists, to the United States.
In July 2015, Fayad's Czech lawyer had disappeared in Lebanon along with four other Czechs and their Lebanese driver after their car was found abandoned 300 meters away from an army checkpoint in the West Bekaa town of Kefraya.
Claims say that the incident in which the five Czechs have gone missing in Lebanon is linked to the case of Ali Fayad.
