220 days have passed on the Lebanese waste crisis, leaving streets stacked with half a million tons of trash.
The agreement with Britain's Chinook Sciences Company will be soon signed and finalized, and 75% of garbage will be deported, in accordance with health and environmental priorities, meaning that trash dumped in sensitive areas will be the first to be removed. However, the fate of the remaining 25% has been yet unclear.
