Head of Marada Movement Suleiman Frangieh met Wednesday with head of Future Movement Saad Hariri in Beit al-Wasat.
Frangieh added that he will not embarrass Hariri by withdrawing his candidacy.
“I will not go back as long multiple parties are supporting me”, he stated.
The deputy also pointed out that the free patriotic movement is his ally and its leader MP Michel Aoun is a friend, “but affairs have not been at their best lately”.
Earlier, Hairi had stressed during a talk with journalists, that he is committed to nominating Frangieh for presidency.
“My position on dealing with the Future’s allies and committing to Frangieh was clear in my speech at the Biel”, he stated.
