REPORT: Illegal internet distribution unveiled

Illegal internet distribution forms 30% of the internet market in Lebanon, spreading across all the regions.

The security apparatuses have been failing to prevent the offender and the Telecommunications Ministry is unable to act without the authorization of the Judiciary.

These remarks were mentioned in a complaint sent by a number of legal internet companies a couple of weeks ago, to the Ministry of Telecommunications, which in turn referred it for the concerned authorities to launch investigations and take the necessary procedures.
