Lebanon’s civil defense launches new application

Director General of the Lebanese Civil Defense, General Raymond Khattar declared Monday that the institution is putting the final touches on a new application that “allows all smartphone users to easily and quickly communicate with operation room of the Directorate General of the Civil Defense.”

On the occasion of World Civil Defense Day (March 01, 2016), Khattar said that “the application allows a faster response to the citizens’ appeals; given the facilitations it provides to better locate the incident.
