REPORT: After five years of war, Syrians hope for a brighter future for Aleppo

Five years after peaceful protests against Syria's President Bashar al-Assad led to a devastating civil conflict in the country, residents in Aleppo remain hopeful that they can one day return to peace.

The Syrian city of Aleppo has become the focal point for the country's long war, which has killed at least 250,000 people and driven 11 million from their homes.

But residents hope that those who left will soon be able to return home and help rebuild the city.
