Public Health Minister Wael Abou Faour and sources from the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, which has been monitoring wheat exports told Reuters news agency that a delegation from the federal service visited Lebanon after Lebanese ministers raised concerns during the past month over wheat-related issued.
In this regard, Abou Faour ruled out that the source of the damaged wheat would be Russia, while sources from the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance said that they did not find any irregularity when testing samples from the wheat imported in Lebanon.
