Khoury: We do not need anyone’s recognition
Minister of Environment Nazem el Khoury urged all ministries in Lebanon on Monday to get used to the presence of an “environment ministry” in Lebanon, a ministry that is not only a consultant but “a full partner in the governmental system.”      

Khoury reiterated his call to assess the environmental impact of all energy projects.      

Khoury responded to Energy Minister Gibran Bassil saying “I do not need anyone’s recognition with my respect to everyone; I am proud of being part of a political family; our name was not tainted with any financial or national tumult.”
