Jiyyeh residents survive inevitable disaster

Several families living in the town of Jiyyeh survived an inevitable disaster as a 220 volt power line extended from the power plant to the houses over which it is passed fell, causing home fires.

This incident pushed the houses’ residents to leave in panic after Blaze erupts in electrical cables. Consequently, electrical appliances in most of these houses caught fire.

The incident took place at night and neither the concerned authorities nor EDL officials responded to the residents’ call for immediate rescue.
