First Investigative Judge of Bekaa Imad al-Zein issued Thursday an arrest warrant against Youssef Khalil Abboud, accused of murdering Ziad Kasouf in Zahle.
Judge al-Zein had interrogated Abboud earlier today and issued his decision in accordance with the article 549 of the Penal Code and article 72 of the Arms and Ammunition Act. The judge is also set to listen to the witnesses’ testimonies’ at a later time.
Youssef Abboud was arrested on Tuesday on charges of being involved in the murder of Kasouf who was shot dead in front of his house last month.
