A cabinet session was held Thursday at the Grand Serail under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Tammam Salam in order to discuss an agenda including a number of national issues.
Prior to the session, Interior and Municipalities Minister Nouhad al-Mashnouq declared that the appointment of Mount Lebanon governor will be delayed until after the municipal elections.
Information Minister Ramzi Jreij revealed that he will propose a list of names to be considered as head of “Tele Liban” administration, noting that this issue could be deferred until next week.
For his part, Economy Minister Alain Hakim stressed that the issue of the State Security apparatus will be postpones until after the municipal elections.
In turn, Tourism Minister Michel Faraon ruled out the possibility of approving the appointments.
