Bassil: Survey indicates presence of commercially-promising quantities of gas
Energy Minister Gibran Bassil said Tuesday that gas exploration plans are being delayed, adding that surveys showed the presence of large quantities of gas, which is very promising on the commercial level.        

Bassil told Reuters that the gas exploration issue will trigger a real change in Lebanon’s economy and economic position. “After 27 international companies reviewed the information revealed in the coastal waters survey, several of them showed interest in exploration”, he said.
