Driving Schools Union calls for strike and protest next Thursday
Hussein Ghandour, head of the Union of Driving Schools called for a strike and a demonstration next Thursday.

Ghandour said in a statement that he is addressing all driving schools and drivers in Lebanon. His call aims at meeting the just and righteous demands that neither the legislative nor the executive power is working on fulfilling. “These powers did not reach a just and organized legal mechanism through which the state can import oil and sell it to consumers”, he said.

Ghandour was astonished at how the Parliament recently issued legal items eliminating around 400 Driving Schools in Lebanon and abolishing their role under the pretexts of development and modernization.
