Seniora: We can’t distance ourselves from all matters
The head of Future Movement parliamentarian bloc Fouad Seniora said that the Arab Spring should be seen as a continuous process for change and reform and not a spontaneous short one, adding that the Arab Spring revealed Arab people’s longing for freedom and democracies for the last decades.

In an interview to Russia Today TV, Seniora expressed his regrets towards the latest events in Syria as the Syrian blood became a tool for bargaining and exchange between super powers.

“The current government decided to distance itself from most problems in the regions as if it was the best remedy for all issues; part of this policy is right”, Seniora told Russia Today reporters.

“We can’t simply distance ourselves from matters related to Lebanon’s sovereignty, assassinations and kidnapping incidents but instead we should take firm stances and courageous decisions”.
