Roknabadi: We support Annan’s plan and the consolidation of unity in the face of Israel

Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi stressed the necessity to consolidate Muslim-Christian unity in the face of Israeli aggressions.

Following his meeting with Druze spiritual leader Sheikh Naim Hassan on Thursday, Roknabadi said that Iran supports the plan of U.N.-Arab League envoy Kofi Annan and encourages all Syrian parties to engage in a dialogue away from any foreign meddling in the country’s internal affairs.

Roknabadi stressed that his country endorses the Syrian people’s demands and the reform process led by Syrian President Bashar Assad.
