Sleiman, Khoury discuss judicial procedures into Shaaban case

President Michel Sleiman met on Thursday with Secretary General of the Lebanese-Syrian Higher Council Nasri Khoury to discuss the course of judicial investigations carried out by Syrian authorities into the case of al-Jadeed TV cameraman Ali Shaaban who was killed along the Syrian-Lebanese border.

Sleiman met with the official delegation that will escort him on his trip to Australia in order to put the final touches to the schedule of visits and meetings that will be held there.

Separately, Sleiman tackled with a delegation of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) the latest political developments at the domestic and regional levels.

Sleiman was briefed by Minister of Displaced Alaa Al-Din Terro on the measures adopted by the MOD regarding the issue of reconciliations and the return of the displaced people.
