Beddawi - Wadi Nahleh residents block off international road

Residents of Beddawi –Wadi Nahleh blocked off the international road on Friday in protest against the failure to release their arrested residents from Roumieh prison and the authorities’ failure to try them despite the fact that they have been arrested for more than 4 years.

Participants raised banners reading “they release spies and leave scientists in prisons”, and “Sheikh Khaled Seif and his relatives were wronged for 4 years, we will keep calling for their release until justice is served”.

3 tents were set up outside the public schools complex in Beddawi before concerned authorities reopened the road.
