Mikati meets Khoury to discuss investigations into Shaaban’s death

Secretary General of the Higher Lebanese-Syrian Council Nasri Khoury briefed PM Najib Mikati on the findings of the investigation conducted by the Syrian side into the incident that killed Al-Jadeed TV cameraman Ali Shaaban.

Mikati stressed the need to follow up on investigations, highlighting the importance of coordination between both sides and exchange of information in order to uncover the truth. Khoury, for his part, said that both parties agree that it is very important to control borders which will promote trust between both countries.
