Future Movement leader ex-Prime Minister Saad Hariri received Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea over Souhour at the Bayt al-Wasat in a gathering that lasted three hours.
Sources told LBCI that the talks reportedly featured high over the security situation in the village of Qaa, the electoral law, the activation of the common causes and expanding the circle of discussions over the presidency.
The meeting was attended by LF media official Melhem Riachi and Hariri advisor Ghattas Khoury.
Lebanon has been plunged into a presidential vacuum since the mandate of president Michel Sleiman ended in May 14, 2014 without the election of a successor.
Deep disputes between rival political parties have thwarted the election sessions.
