Troops sent to al-Qaa were not enough – Zahra to LBCI

Member of the Lebanese Forces MP Antoine Zahra said to LBCI’s ‘Nharkom Said’ on Monday that “he does not support self-security and did not take part in it al-Qaa”, pointing out that the bearing of arms was in coordination with the Lebanese Army.

Zahra stated that "they were forced to help the Lebanese Army in al-Qaa, as the number of sent forces was not enough."

“The suicide bombers came from Arsal outskirts, and our holding up of arms was a normal response yet the state is responsible for our security and no one else,” he explained.
