Prime Minister Tammam Salam stressed Monday Lebanon’s commitment to maintain a humanitarian approach in dealing with the Syrian refugees, emphasizing the need to keep the issue of the refugees out of political deals.
During a ceremony held at the Grand Serail to launch the map of resources, Salam said that “when the Lebanese government adopted a clear position calling for supporting the communities hosting refugees, it was a starting point towards approving a series of projects and appropriate decisions to achieve this end.”
“The project related to the maps of risks and resources is one of these projects aiming at assisting communities in facing this great challenge,” he added.
