Head of the Lebanese Democratic Party MP Talal Arslan said via Twitter that he supports “the statement of Speaker Nabih Berri who said that should the 1960s electoral law be adopted in the upcoming parliamentary elections, it will be faced with a wide popular revolution and will not have an acceptable impact at all.”
“Proportionality is the solution,” he tweeted.
