Governor of Beirut orders closure of three betting shops in Beirut

Governor of Beirut Ziad Chebib issued on Thursday a series of decisions stating the closure of three betting shops for football and horse racing, as well as shops selling illegal internet and satellites.

Chebib also ordered the closure of a café that violates the public safety standards and three bakeries for violating the minimum health standards, and that following the inspection conducted by the health monitoring committee of Beirut.

The governor ordered the concerned authorities in the municipality of Beirut to accompany the police of Beirut while implementing these decisions.
