Protesters stage demonstration against spike in fuel prices before Serail

A number of students, workers and independent individuals staged a demonstration before the Grand Serail in Beirut protesting against the rise in gasoline prices, on Wednesday. This hike affected livelihoods and the economic situation as a whole, they said.

The protesters called on the government to attach great importance to issues related to living standards and control fuel prices, especially gasoline prices.
