[PHOTOS] ISF foils attempt to smuggle drugs into jail

The Internal Security Forces declared on Friday that sneakers were used in the latest unusual attempt to smuggle drugs into prison.

“While searching items sent to inmates by their families, the guards of the Zahle prison seized a quantity of drugs that was hidden inside a pair of sneakers,” the ISF said in a statement.

The drugs were brought by the Syrian wife of one of the prisoners who was identified only by her initials as: S. S, (Born in 1988).
