MP Jisr to LBCI: Top priority should be holding the presidential elections

Future bloc MP Samir Jisr asserted on Wednesday that Lebanon can stand separated from the ongoing turmoil in the region, adding that the top priority should be the presidential elections.

“The sole real solution for the current crisis is to agree on a consensual presidential candidate,” MP Jisr said during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show.

On another, he stressed that the parliamentary elections will undoubtedly take place, adding that no political party has the audacity to accept the extension of the parliament’s mandate.
