Resigned Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi said on Saturday that “this year’s anniversary of bombings which hit Salam and Taqwa mosques in Tripoli has a new meaning for the crime”, promising to prosecute the criminals and have them held accountable.
On another note Rifi stated that “Lebanon’s ‘Heroes’ of corruption have hit the records”, explaining that they are a group of rivals who agree to follow on with their looting of Public money.
Rifi promised to continue facing the approach meant to destruct Lebanon, as well as facing the attempted coup against the Lebanese constitution.
“We will not delay using all peaceful means to thwart the coup, and our people will back us,” he added.
The deputy’s remarks came after his meeting with a delegation of Muslim Scholars Committee headed by Sheikh Zakariya Al-Masri.
