Ahdab accuses March 8 of having a hand in Tripoli demonstration shooting

Former MP Mosbah Ahdab stressed on Monday that “it is not permissible for the current political rift in the country to turn into a military confrontation.”

“It is unreasonable that a party maintains its arms under the guise of the resistance,” he told Nharkom Said TV show.

Ahdab added that the shooters at the Sunday Tripoli demonstration are members of a party affiliated to the March 8 forces.

The former minister warned that the security situation in Tripoli involves all of Lebanon since any security issue in the city will spread across all Lebanese region, as he said.

In his concluding remarks, Ahdab accused the state of turning a blind eye to the events taking place in Tripoli.
