Saadnayel students out of class for fear of building collapse

Since Monday morning, the students of the Saadnayel Public School have been officially with no classes or school in the wake of a ministry of education’s decision that called for evacuating the school’s building which is reportedly vulnerable to collapse.

The collapse warning emerged after experts inspected the building and found some dangerous cracks. In condemnation of this decision, the students’ families staged a protest during which they called for finding an alternative so that their children do not miss their academic year.

The relatives also warned of escalatory measures in the event that the school closes its doors, suggesting that the closure decision comes into effect at the end of the academic year.
