Kamil al-Najjar’s murder reenacted in Bechmezzine

On Monday morning, Lebanese defendant Walid al-Labidi reenacted the murder of young Kamil Najjar at the crime scene in Bechmezzine, Koura.

The defendant reenacted the crime and confessed that he carried out over 30 robberies in Koura, Batroun and Jbeil; he was prosecuted more than once on charges of theft.

The ISF said in a statement that based on the surveys and investigations conducted in coordination with the LAF’s Directorate of Intelligence, a number of suspects were arrested, and following interrogations, suspicions surrounded W.L., Lebanese and born in 1980. He was arrested by the Lebanese Army Intelligence for having a record of burglary; he also owns a car similar to the car monitored by surveillance cameras near the house.

44-year-old Kamil al-Najjar from Bechmezzine, Koura was killed during the attempted robbery of his brother’s house by two suspects.
