Hospitals to stop accepting Social Security approvals starting April 30

The Syndicate of Hospitals in Lebanon announced on Tuesday that it will permanently stop accepting approvals by the Social Security Fund starting April 30 and until the hospital demands are approved and executed.

Following an urgent meeting, the syndicate called for approving the rights of hospitals and obliging all the bodies and public social funds to adopt the amended fees, which were previously agreed upon and made public after the meeting held under the sponsorship of the ministers of labor and health, and to place them into effect before May 15.

The syndicate criticized the negligence shown towards the hospital demands and the delay in paying the financial dues.
