US Agency for International Development boosts environmental tourism in Baskinta
A high-ranking delegation from the U.S. embassy, including the Assistant Director of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for the Middle East, Mara Rudman, inspected a number of projects implemented in the Lebanese town of Baskinta to encourage environmental tourism in the region.      

Rudman participated in the “Rural Tourism Day” exhibition which embraced more than 20 institutions for promoting and boosting economic growth in rural communities. The exhibition saw the attendance of many agricultural producers.
