Israeli army issues urgent evacuation warning for seven villages in southern Lebanon

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued an urgent evacuation warning to residents in several southern Lebanese towns, saying the army plans to strike areas it claims are linked to Hezbollah activity.

The warning included the villages of Houmine El Faouqa, Bnaafoul, Arab Salim, Roumine, Azza, Arki, and Jbaa.

In a post on X, Adraee said that, in light of what he described as Hezbollah’s violation of a ceasefire agreement and attacks on Israel’s home front, the Israeli military would operate “with force” in these areas, stressing that it does not intend to harm civilians.

He called on residents to evacuate their homes immediately and move at least 1,000 meters away from the villages into open areas, warning that anyone near Hezbollah members, facilities, or weapons would be at risk.
