Electoral laws take forefront in Gemayel-Siniora meeting

The Head of the Future bloc MP Fouad Siniora said on Wednesday that the issue of proportional representation is worth following up on. Following his meeting with the Head of the Kataeb party Amin Gemayel in the Central House in Saifi, Siniora stressed that, as Arabs, the Lebanese are concerned with the Syrian situation. He added that there is no use and no interest in meddling in domestic Syrian affairs.

For his part, Gemayel said that the Kataeb party is in continuous coordination with the Future Movement and the rest of its allies to guarantee equal representation in the parliament.
