REPORT: Family calls on Abou Faour to save child’s life

Family of Rahaf Mohammad, a one year-old girl who fell on Tuesday off a height of 12 meters in the northern town of Ain el-Dahab in Akkar, called on Minister of Health Wael Abou Faour to intervene immediately to get their child a bed in the intensive care in order to save her life.

In the details, the girl was transported Tuesday to El Youssef Medical Center in Halba after she fell down and lost her consciousness.

Her father, Ali Mohamad, said that his child underwent the necessary treatment, however she needs to be transported to the intensive care department but no room was available for her.

For their part, hospital managers stated that the girl’s situation is very critical and that she should be transferred to another hospital due to the lack of beds they have. They added that they have communicated with several hospitals but they have not received any positive response yet.

Later, Minister Abou Faour called for transporting the child to Tripoli Governmental Hospital.
