Unidentified assailants opened fire at a Lebanese Armed Forces Sergeant identified as Talal Taleb in the northern city of Tripoli, the state-run National News Agency reported on Sunday.
The sergeant was immediately transported to the city’s Nini Hospital for treatment, and his condition is unstable, according to the agency.
