Akkar residents block main road, demand swift release of detainees
Hundreds of Akkar residents rallied on Saturday on the al-Abdeh highway with the participation of Akkar MPs Khaled Daher, Mouin Merhabi, Khaled Zaharman, Riyad Rahal and former MP Mosbah Ahdab as well as other prominent figures in Akkar.    

The protesters blocked the main road in protest of the delay in trying the Akkar residents that were detained by the LAF, calling for their immediate release.
