REPORT: Hassan Khalil says new electoral law sole solution for country’s crisis

The AMAL Movement celebrated on Wednesday the Ashoura Day with mourning marches in several Lebanese regions.

Political adviser to Speaker Nabih Berri Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil said in a speech commemorating Ashoura in the southern city of Tyre that the sole solution for the country’s crisis is a new electoral law that gives apt representation to all Lebanese people.

He also stressed importance of removing sectarianism in the minds of the Lebanese people without marginalizing any sect.
