King Abdullah II describes Syrian situation as worrisome

King Abdullah II of Jordan described the developments in Syria as worrisome, underscoring the need to find a political solution to the national crisis, according to a royal statement issue don Wednesday.

During his meeting with a U.S. Congress delegation in Amman, King Abdullah emphasized the importance of finding a political solution to the crisis. King Abdullah stressed Jordan’s support to efforts exerted by International Envoy Kofi Annan in this regard.
