REPORT: Man kills his two sons, commits suicide in Akkar’s Mashta Hassan

A man identified by his initials as (Y.S.) killed on Friday his two young sons before committing suicide in the northern town of Mashta Hassan in Akkar.

The father shot dead his son (M.S.) 7, and (A.S.), 5, before pointing the hunting rifle at himself and shooting himself to death.

The three bodies were taken to the al-Salam Hospital in Kobayat.

The brother of the murder told LBCI that his brother was under arrest for one year on charges of drug abuse.

He also added that he might have committed the crime under the effect of drugs.
