Italy to provide LAF with equipment, ammunition
Italian Ambassador to Lebanon Massimo Marotti declared on Tuesday that Italy will provide the Lebanese Armed Forces with equipment and ammunition in amount worth of 3.5 million euros.
The envoy’s comments were made during a celebration marking Italy’s Armed Forces Day whereby he noted that his country will provide the Lebanese Armed Forces “with additional weapons in the near future.”
He also noted that the donations form a part of a bigger project.
