Following the success of the Lebanese Wine Day in Paris in May 2013 and then in Berlin in 2014, the Agriculture Ministry organized a new Lebanese Wine Day at the infamous Astor Center in Manhattan - New York City on November 17, 2016, bringing together a total of 26 wineries from the Bekaa, North Lebanon and Mount Lebanon regions.
The event was attended by more than 250 sommeliers, wine distributors and media representatives, as well as delegates from a number of embassies and the Lebanese diaspora.
In a press conference followed by wine tasting masterclasses, former Minister Salim Warde praised the efforts of the organizers’ of the even, stressing its importance and wising success in their goals.
