Independent Christians Gathering: current electoral law exacerbates sectarianism
The Independent Christians gathering held its regular meeting Friday at Our Lady of Harissa in presence of its Secretary General, former Minister Abdallah Farhat and other ranking dignitaries.
In his statement, Farhat stressed on  "the legislative elections' deadline and the intended procrastination to block the approval of the newly proposed electoral law aimed at achieving diversity and equity."

Conferees held opponents of this project a historical responsibility due "to the many aspects of danger posed by the current electoral law."
