Israeli forces clashed with protesters as pressure continues to grow over the 1-thousand Palestinian prisoners currently on hunger strike. Protesters burned tyres and threw stones at soldiers outside Ofer prison, located on the outskirts of Ramallah, where some of the Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike are being held. Meanwhile, two fishermen off the northern coast of Gaza were detained Thursday, by the Israeli Defense Forces, according to the Hamas Ministry of Agriculture. The Ministry added that the two fishermen were brothers; Jihad and Zaher Al-Sultan. And both are residents of Beyt Lahia. The two detainees were captured and taken to an unknown place. In a separate event, IDF forces stated that a rocket from the Gaza strip was fired into South Israel causing no casualties or damage Wednesday night. IDF spokesperson confirmed the rocket landing to France Press adding that the rocket was fired from the “Sha'ar HaNegev” area and resulted in no damage.
