Erdogan calls Hollande, hopes for “new era” in bilateral relations
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the newly-elected French President Francois Hollande on Thursday evening to congratulate him on his electoral victory, hoping for a “new era” in Franco-Turkish relations, officials said.    

During the phone call, Erdogan also told Hollande that he believes relations between Turkey and France will now be free from what he called "artificial questions currently affecting them”.
